I make it a point to support local businesses whenever possible. I discovered this cafe through Yelp and was drawn in by the amazing pictures. It's a must-try spot! The prices are incredibly reasonable, portions are generous, service is warm and welcoming, and the food is delicious! They sold out of the Prime Rib when I ordered takeout and opted for the Ribeye with garlic rice, and it was fantastic! It's definitely a must-visit if you're in the mood for good food. I've got my eye on that Prime Rib next!

When we come home for vacation we are always looking for new places to eat. This place was probably one of the best restaurants we ate at this time on vacation! Food was so yummy and plenty! The service was amazing like family!

I came here right when they were opened. It is a small restaurant with a private parking lot. The staffs were very friendly and nice. I ordered the ube mascarpone and Preston plate. The ube mascarpone was perfect. I didn't need any syrup. The portions were huge! They have a lot of other interesting items on the menu. I left my kids at the hotel, but I wish that I could've brought them so that I could order more things on the menu.

A popular place and deserves its popularity. We came around 1030 AM on Saturday and the wait was about 1 hour (paper sign-in). Around 12 PM the line died down. We saw a lot of people do takeouts which takes less time, so we might do that next time instead. + Food: the Mauka Makai Moco is a 6/10, just because there was too much sesame oil, hence the 4 stars :( my boyfriend loves the burger and fries were well-seasoned and crispy. The adobo rice was good, 9/10. + Atmosphere: The service is great and they were extremely nice! The space inside is small but not cramped. Good for a casual or family gathering. Overall, I'd come back to try their other stuff!

I have been on the hunt for my favorite brunch spot and I think I may have found it. The ambiance of the spot seems casual like a typical brunch spot and the servers are pretty friendly. They are usually quite busy especially with limited seating so sometimes you may have to wait for a bit (5-10minutes). Food Ratings: - Braised Ribeye Benedict: 7.1/10 - Crab Cake Benedict: 9.1/10 - Mauka Maka Loco Moco: 10/10 - Furikake Crusted Ahi Salad: 10/10 Details: The first time I visited I got the braised ribeye benedict. My go-to is always the crab cake eggs benedict when I eat brunch, however I decided to try something new and it was quite disappointing to be frank. The ribeye was tough/chewy, I enjoyed the sweet potato friends more than the benedict itself. I decided to give the spot another go, especially as my partner wanted to try something else on the menu so I resorted to my default brunch order of the crab cake benedict's. one of the best benedicts i've had so far. everything is solid and i love it when the muffins aren't too big (i hate it when they're large n dry plehhh). The crab cake was solid and very flavorful. very saucey which is just perfect. I enjoyed the sweet potato fries just like the last time and the eggs are also exactly how i like it, very runny. My third time, I wasn't feeling the carb-y benedict for the early morning so I hesitantly decided on the furikake crusted ahi salad. I got all of the sauces on the side so I can portion it myself and I was very glad I made that decision. This dish was amazing, very light but delicious. The gravy for the mashed potatoes were very flavorful and the veggies I chose for the side was the best decision ever, they were very flavorful as well. The sauces for the ahi was a great combo and since I got them on the side, I was able to dip it in and create the perfect ratio for me, especially as I typically dislike wasabi (but the wasabi aioli wasn't too strong). My partner ordered the Mauka Maka Loco Moco, it was DELICIOUS as well, I would often look at him with a pleading gaze so he would share some with me (although he often devours it before even sparing me a look). The crab cake and the steak in it creates the perfect combo and the gravy is also very flavorful. We have also wanted to get the prime rib loco moco, however they seem to have a limited amount and the times we have gone later during the day (~1-2) they would have ran out by then. Everything is also decorated and plated perfectly. The little flowers just adds such a nice touch. Will definitely be coming back again and recommend! Their ube waffles/pancakes looks very enticing so that is on my next pick!

Located in the Kapālama center went there for my Birthday I ordered the Ox tail soup was this time was disappointed it was all soup with 5 pieces of ox tail and some mustard cabbage and cilantro. The soup was ok taste wise, but it was mostly just broth. My wife had the macadamia nut pancake which she enjoyed the portions was large and she couldn't finish the whole meal. I've been going there and the food has always been terrific, and service always is great! I guess I stick to my other restaurant when it comes to ox tail soup.

All I have to say about Guieb is WOW. We ordered the following items: Hawaiian Pancakes: Sweet and extremely fluffy! Ube Pancakes: Not too sweet, but we're fluffy and piping hot. Bao Bun Benedict: The pork was juicy, savory, and full of flavor. Field Trip Plate: From the adobo fried rice, crab cake salad, and the meats.. HOLY MOLY! The outside of this place doesn't do justice.. when you finally get in, the place is cute, clean, and the staff is always willing to help. If you are ever in Hawaii, please stop by and give this place a try!

I had been to the two other locations, and when I contacted fellow Yelpers, Terry K and Iris T, we agreed to meet here. It is a cozy little spot but very lively and inviting! The staff is really nice! We had this idea of finding the best club sandwich on Oahu, and Guieb had one. We ordered the pastrami club, which was really good. We also had the delicious philly cheesesteak, and the oh so good Adobo fried rice omelette with crispy lechon. We shared everything, family style which was fun! I really love the Guieb cafes. They have a great variety of food to choose from! Mahalo Guieb

I had lunch here today around 1pm and the place was packed. I had to put my name on the waitlist and waited about 10 minutes. Luckily, it was happy hour 12:30pm-2:30pm and got 15% off the bill. I'm a seafood lover, so of course I ordered the whole lobster meal $22 with crab salad and fried rice (uncharge of $4). The lobster was on the small side, but was delicious with the garlic butter sauce on it. I also got a side of sweet potato fries $4. You can't go wrong with that. The hubby rounded out the meal with just a coffee $3. He had waffles at home before we came and wasn't hungry. The server kept coming around and giving him refills, which he appreciated. I think he had three cups before he told them no thanks, lol. The service was very good. They kept coming and checking on us and got us whatever we needed. Great place to dine with decent prices.
